SIMILARITIES BETWEEN NAWAZ SHARIF DISQUALIFICATION AND BHUTTO'S EXECUTION

I can vividly recall the day Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was hanged - the dancing in the streets, the distribution of mithai, the crying, the burning of tyres. Exams were delayed by almost a year. And today we refer to that hanging as a judicial murder. The reaction of different people yesterday on the ouster/disqualification of Mian Nawaz Sharif, reminded me of the 1979 court ruling. We will have to wait many years before we can finally decide the positives or negatives of this decision, my only hope & prayer is for people to come in who feel for this country & its people - who usher in an era of fairness, equal rights, justice, who ensure provision of clean drinking water, power, in short short all that is the right of a people.
Suddenly, I am reminded, once again, of how insignificant Man is! No matter how big a Phanney Khan he considers himself to be it takes a second to change everything! Why do we forget that whoever we may become there is always a power higher than all of us - we will eventually have to take responsibility for all that we have done. Watching Nawaz Sharif quietly leave the PM House brought to mind the beautiful - wato izzo mun ta shao wato zillo mantasha - beshak! I watched talk shows all through yesterday and found it actually funny how some anchors & participants made outright degrading remarks about a man who was the PM just a few hours back! Even Dr. Asim had an observation to make  a question to ask!

SHOULD ARTICLE 62 AND 63 BE REVOKED ? IS EVERYBODY SADIQ AND AMEEN?

I personally happen to be of the opinion that Articles 62 and 63 have no place in our constitution. They should be repealed as soon as possible and whichever parliament does so would be doing history and jurisprudence a favor, At the same time, though, these Articles do exist and are a part of the "letter of the constitution", quite literally.
For the majority of the day, my facebook newsfeed has been inundated with joy and disgust, abandon and hesitance. Most people seem relieved to see the back of Ameer-ul-Momieen, due process or no due process. Some are disappointed in the judiciary's willingness to participate in this "judicial coup" and its attempts to further the agenda of an anti-democratic establishment. I have nothing but respect for both these positions, given that they are reasonable and not entirely outlandish. Anyone with a working brain can see that politics in this country goes beyond the politicians and the institutions they are most closely associated to. Our history has taught us many a lesson, including the need to be wary of an apex court wielding such power. The specter of Justice Munir still haunts us and perhaps, should continue to.
Having read all 25 pages of the Judgement authored by Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, I do want to talk about a few salient issues.
a) It is not the Supreme Court's job to engage in political debate about the historical baggage that Article 62 (and even 63) represents. If a law is on the books, I see no reason for why it shouldn't be invoked. From a purely political perspective, Mian Nawaz Sharif fought tooth and nail to ensure that these articles wouldn't be removed from the body of the constitution, during the 18th amendment days. Seeing him fall on his own sword gives me a perverse pleasure that is very difficult to deny.
b) No, the Supreme Court could not throw him out for the offence of corruption or for the appropriation of public money or for having wealth disproportionately larger than what his means allowed him to possess. The Supreme Court, according to my understanding, is not a trial court, and even its original jurisdiction 184(3) does not make it a trial court. Cognizant of the fact that the voluminous record available points to nearly certain guilt, the Supreme Court was wise in providing the direction it did. I wish to quote Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan at this point, when he says:
"....such conviction can only be recorded by an Accountability Court under the NAO, after a proper trial, recording evidence and granting due process rights guaranteed by the Constitution to the accused. To transplant the powers of the Accountability Court and to attach such powers to the jurisdiction of this Court under Article 184(3) of the Constitution has neither been prayed for by the petitioners nor can it be, in our opinion, done without stretching the letter of the law and the scheme of the Constitution"
I find this line of reasoning quite persuasive. For those who say, "HEY! NAWAZ SHARIF IS DEFINITELY GUILTY BUT HE HAS BEEN SENT HOME FOR THE WRONG REASONS. THIS SETS A TERRIBLE PRECEDENT", I am unsure what kind of precedent an overly broad interpretation of 184(3) would set.
By no means am I suggesting that the Honourable Justices Gulzar and Khosa were malicious or misguided in disqualifying MNS. It is not my position to make claims like this against such giants of the legal profession. I am merely suggesting that the restraint exercised by the majority in that bench had strong legal merit. Even in the aftermath of that restraint, it is commendable that Justices Khan, Ahsan and Saeed did not want to risk playing with the integrity of the constitution.
c) Some people seem to suggest that Nawaz Sharif's failure to disclose his assets correctly while filing his nomination papers, accompanied by a sworn affidavit, was a mistake. Ergo, the punishment being prescribed may be disproportionate. Even if one were to assume that the representation of his non-withdrawn salary as a non-asset may have been a simple accounting mistake, the Court's decision to treat it as a violation of the requirements of being Sadiq and Ameen is vindicated by MNS's sworn affidavit. The purpose of such an affidavit is to ensure that the filings have integrity, and such basic mistakes have been accounted for. Moreover, who doesn't know that Nawaz Sharif lied and did so copiously?
The point I am making is simple. The Court understood that it was looking at a fairly unprecedented case in terms of its jurisprudence, as well as political ramifications that could arise out of the court proceedings. Had this been the handiwork of the establishment, the Court would have had very little reason to uphold the stringent requirements of Articles 10 and 25 of the Constitution. The Court could have convicted MNS and co., without giving them the opportunity to defend themselves in a full fledged trial with the recording and cross-examination of evidence and witnesses. On the contrary, it merely "disqualified" him from office.
The Left in this country suffers from a number of issues: myopia and a faulty short term memory being two of them. I understand the need to go after the establishment hammer and tongs, but at the same time, let's take a step back and critically examine the facts before us. Now more than ever, the Supreme Court needs our faith and belief.
Yes, no Prime Minister has ever completed their term. Yes, there are forces at play that show democracy a pittance of consideration and trample all over it when they can. At the end of it though, let's not let a liar get away with misrepresenting the trust of public office. Let's not let him hold millions of votes in disdain. Let's not let him become just another Prime Minister, just another incomplete term. Mian Nawaz Sharif may not be guilty of everything levied against him, but the least we can do is hold him accountable. Let's not fail at that.

ARE ITEM NUMBERS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR OUR FILM INDUSTRY OR ITS OUR SICK MINDSET?

ARE ITEM NUMBERS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR OUR FILM INDUSTRY OR ITS OUR SICK MINDSET.
Item numbers are becoming a powerful tool they manipulate people's minds , when they so called lach songs before movie release.

After Mehwish Hayat and Saba Qamar comes our super model, Sadaf Kanwal, who is going to appear in Na Maloom Afraad 2. No. She will not be acting in it but will be appearing as a guest in an 'Item Song' - Kaif-o-Suroor. The newly released trailer of the song has recently created a lot of buzz, and all we can say is that the song doesn't look any less than a Bollywood item song!

Do you think such item songs depict a true picture of our society where in marriage functions dance of family girls is considered as one of the obligation of marriage function but some entities called it as Mujra. Many people are creating buzz after release of this song considering it Intense bay hayai. Meanwhile same people would love to watch thumkas of Katrina and Deepika perhaps they think its Sawab watching a kafir dancing. Many people commenting that it will kill our moral values. I wonder Valueless, immoral and unethical worst possible uncivilized, confused and mentally challenged society is talking about morality. Share your views.

A SEXTUAL PREDATOR WEARING A MASK OF PRINCIPAL CAUGHT IN CHILDREN'S ACADEMY

A sexual predator wearing a mask of principal/educationist named Ataulla running Hayatabad Children

Academy, got arrested after he ruined the life of 80 women and recorded videos of more than 27 (which

includes underaged too) after targeting them. A rapist imbecile was nabbed recently in Peshawar. He

was running a private school. He used to isolate the victims before attacking them then used to blackmail

them into negative activities.

I wonder how many more morons are out there in our society operating to destroy the lives of innocents?

Another story that will earn shame and humiliation for Pakistan globally.

When I read this kind of stuff while researching for new articles for my blog I feel ashamed I don't want to

write or publish stuff like this but i'm forced to, because this society needs to know. We should stop

these kind of predators . This is not only wrong in Islam but is against humanity.

Have a look at this person's face he has a beard and cap , fully dressed in an islamic get up but what is

inside him is unknown .He may be married (assuming by his age ) but his lust is never ending. He

molested children and maybe he had kids of same age.

Think before you act ! Bring Change!

ZIA-UL-HAQ RESPONSIBLE FOR EXTREMISM IN PAKISTAN ?? TALIBAN WHO??

ZIA-UL-HAQ  RESPONSIBLE  FOR EXTREMISM IN PAKISTAN ?? CAN WE BLAME A DEAD GENERAL??

Muhammad Zia ul haq was the fourth chief martial law administrator and sixth president of
Pakistan. He was born in Jalandhar, India, on 12 August, 1924 and died on 17 August, 1988. After his graduation he joined the British Indian army in 1943. Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto retired seven lieutenant-general in order to promote Zia ul haq to fourth star rank. In 1976 Zulfikar Ali Bhutto appointed Zia ul haq as the chief of army staff and in 1977 Zia ul haq planned and over threw the rule of Bhutto getting advantage of widespread civil disorder.
When Zia took power the ruling class resisted the enforcement of Islam and only lip service and no sincerity was given in this direction. Zia ul haq was aware of this and he took series of steps and took practical measure. These  creation of favorable atmosphere, reforms in information media, ban on obscene adds, contact with Ulama and Mashaikh, eradication of lawlessness, prayer in congregation, respect for Ramadan, better facilities for Hajj, reorientation of education policy, making of International Islamic University Islamabad, enforcement of Hudood ordinance, setting up of Sharia court, sharia bench of Supreme court, Qazi courts, progress towards Islamic economic system, National language and national dress, decisions about Qadianis, enforcement of Sharia ordinance 1988. During the rule of Zia ul haq, he created an atmosphere where acting towards Islam was liked and opposing it was disliked. He became an example himself as he acted upon Islamic injunction, performed Umrah. He prayed regularly and his speeches showed his devotion towards Islam. His first reform was to control media as media played an important role in creating favorable public opinion for a particular system. Music and dancing was prohibited. Azan was aired five timed. Hajj rites were broadcast. T.V. programs were stopped during iftar for a peaceful environment for Muslims. To bring Islam enforcedly the support of ulama and   Mashaikh was necessary so he made a rue where the ulama and Mashaikh can give their opinion and criticize government if they do not follow the path of Islam. Zia government attempted to maintain the sacredness of virtue and protection. At first the lawfulness was upheld to annihilate profanity and indecency, however later the pace of these changes couldn't be kept up. Henceforth, with the progression of time the T.V. control got casual and with the setting up of popularity based government, fear based oppressors and dacoits got dynamic, and the purposeful publicity of security of "chadar" and "chardivary" lost its appeal and validity. Arrangements for the Zuhr prayers were made in all schools and government offices and Nazimin-i-Salat was appointed who used to arrange the managements of the prayers, and urged the people to offer prayers. To enforce the respect for Ramadan special ordinance was released which is still followed. Many opportunities were provided to people to perform hajj. To inculcate Islamic thinking in students, general Zia ordered to review all textbooks and anything repugnant to Islam and to the ideology of Pakistan was deleted. Pakistan studies and islamiyat was made compulsory. Islamic international university was made in Islamabad to research on fiqh and principles of sharia.  In 1979, 10 February four punishments were enforced which were cutting of hand if theft, hundred lashes and stoning for death for adultery and eighty lashes for drinking and for false accusation of adultery. The sharia bench of the Supreme Court was the highest court for appeal regarding Islamic law and in the same court the principles of Islamic Law could be discussed and interpreted.   For simple and speedy decisions Qazi courts were made. An ombudsman was appointed in June 1981, who could convey the complaints of the people. Few steps were taken to model the economic system on Islamic lines. For instance, the enforcement of Zakat and Ushar system. Zakat is annually deducted from saving accounts and GDP funds when received, on the first Ramadan. Ushar was collected from those Landlords whose yield exceeded 948 kg of wheat. To stop the dominance of western culture Zia ordered all the high officials to wear national dress president and prime minister also wore national dress on important functions. To promote national language Urdu, it was said that president and finance minister would address in Urdu. After few years all education would be in Urdu including the official correspondence, but no effective steps were taken in this regard.
The era of the Zia military administration proved to be a vital phase in spreading, infusing and injecting religious fanaticism, radicalization, fundamentalism, sectarianism and prejudice into Pakistani society. This has made Pakistan more worried about interior security challenges than external ones, as radicalism and terrorism take on the monstrous form of religious and sectarian militancy. The radical reserves are existing in all corners of the country in the form of 'madrassas'. Religious radical entities are playing a projecting role in the nationwide, political and social ranges. Although the government of Pakistan and the military formation, which previously supported these groups, are taking some steps to decrease terrorism. It has become a very difficult task since the genius of extremism and terrorism is out of the bottle and requires great effort, patience and consistency to deal with.
Another form is sectional terrorism that is at the top in the present tense. This form began to develop during the period of Zia, whose government reinforced and forced the Deobandi sect of Islam in varied cultural and religious masses. Sectional terrorism has pretentious all parts of the country, but its irregular strikes are mainly present in the north and south of the Punjab, affectation a real threat to the country's countrywide security. This form was later used by the Pakistani military founding on the Kashmir front. But now the dilemma has taken a hold over the whole country and turned it into a jungle, where everyone is fighting each other by adopting this name. After September 11, Pakistan's administration and military founding turned their rules toward the Taliban, using talks and military means to eliminate these groups.
Another social importance that cannot be overlooked is the development of gender roles. The clarification of Islam used as the basis of shariah laws was conventional, and often the role of women was undermined and misunderstood. Women in Zia's Pakistan found themselves increasingly pushed back, indirect behind high brick walls and covered in cloth, all for their own "defense." Laws such as the Hudood Decree were often misused as tools of suppression, with "numerous of incidents in which a woman exposed to rape, or even gang rape, was finally accused of Zina" Admiration for the elderly, equality Wife and husband - features that were subordinated where strict Islamic principles came into play. Although this culture was, to some extent, in place before Zia's time, Islamization turned it into changed Islamist principles legitimized by the administration.
All these policies proves his devotion towards Islam and that he was a religious extremist who brought Islamic enforcement in Pakistan. Most of his rules are still made obligatory and are followed. Like islamiyat and Pakistan studies are still compulsory most of the offices and school still pray at zuhr time, T.V. channels still show prayers and in Ramadan rules are followed so that Muslims can fast in peace. Hajj still have opportunities for people etc. his giving the power in the hands of Ullama also brought many disasters in the government than and today like when  In the late 1970s, General Zia-ul-Haq toppled Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's nonmilitary personnel government. Shorty subsequent to coming to control, Zia made the Islamization of Pakistan the official arrangement of his administration. In his drive to cleanse the nation of "westernization," the liberal and exceedingly dynamic condition of Pakistan's state funded colleges wound up noticeably one of the Zia's first casualties. The Sunni Deobandi Ulama, including the JI's authority, were given startling and intense parts in different state foundations. Amid the years Zia was in control, the state-drove approach of disparaging the nation's preservationist groups brought about the quick ascent of extraordinary conservative political and religious understudy unions and their furnished frameworks on grounds crosswise over Pakistan. Amid the war against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, state funded colleges in Pakistan, alongside madrassas, demonstrated a powerful apparatus for the enrollment of warriors. As a result of the Afghan Jihad, weapons begun to show up on college grounds in Pakistan. The accessibility of and simple access to guns on grounds was endured by the Zia administration to a great extent because of political reasons, related with the president's endeavors to diminish Bhutto's support on college grounds that for the most part originated from left-wing understudy unions. Moreover, it was additionally amid president Zia's decide that the Islamization of understudy legislative issues in state funded colleges made partisan divisions a long way past the edges of religious theological colleges. Seemingly, partisan militancy initially risen in Pakistan's state funded colleges when the Deobandi understudy unions, driven by the IJT, turned to savage intends to accomplish their goals in colleges crosswise over Pakistan. The "sectarianization" of training at grounds was endured, if not energized, by Zia's military administration. This in result made inward disorder as partisan fights at instructive establishments in the nation. Sunni and Shia groups of various understudies’ unions bolstered and subsidized by Saudi Arabia and Iran individually, bobbed into reality. Zia was a controversial figure and he was opposed by the elite class of Pakistan as they were not satisfied by his Islamic enforcement.

MEMES MADE LIFE MISERABLE FOR " YAY BIK GYE HAY GORMINT" AUNTY !!

"Ye bik gayi hai Gormint" was a phrase fetched from an interview of Mrs Qamar which went uber viral making its way to all corners of Pakistan. It became a source of entertainment; mocked, trolled and brutally bashed the woman without thinking for a second what the consequences would be. We never knew about Mrs Qamar until we heard her story a couple of days back, where her family has boycotted her, and no one is ready to accept her daughters as their pride.

Converted into memes all over the internet.
Even launched Brands with Pictures of her

This shouldn't happen, being active citizens of the social media world where one image or video can shake anyone's world without showing any mercy to the victim. Please stop all the mocking, think about esteem, not a meme.

QANDEEL BALOCH IS NO HERO STOP MAKING HER ONE !!

To those glorifying Qandeel Baloch as an empowered woman who didn't listen to the world; telling others not to judge her for posting closeups of her butt cheeks and cleavage for the world to see and comment and everyone arguing that womanhood doesn't lie in a woman's sexuality; please realize that this is ONLY what Qandeel Baloch did through her videos/pictures: Objectify women as symbol of sex. She was no advocate of social rights or women empowerment. The news of her being a suppressed woman only came out a week ago and her true identity a little earlier than that! Stop Glorifying her. Yes, taking a human life is far more low-lying than the stunts she had ever pulled, and it must be condemned by all means but trending #IAmQandeel is gauche!

God forbid any one of us from being Qandeel. We all have our demons, no one is a saint but putting them on display on social media is like having Intercourse in the open. Next you see someone doing that, don't judge them either and let this society lose whatever little native values it is left over with!

STORY OF A YOUNG MAN FIGHTING DEPRESSION

FIGHTING DEPRESSION

Following is interview of one of my dear friend. (anonymous). In the following interview, I asked
him to narrate me any short event that taught him a lesson or was worth experiencing but in reply he summarized his whole life in front of me. He narrates the dips and high points in his life. The following is written in first in first Peron point of view.
I’ll start my story from my school days that taught me many things and I was too scared to go to the school and couldn’t handle much pressure in early days. My mind was too preoccupied to even think about sleeping. It was 4:00 a.m. . . . A part in me kept reminding that there was school tomorrow, but the other part could not help but think; think how miserable my life had come to be. My grandfather was suffering from Dementia (a chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease or injury and marked by memory disorders, personality changes, and impaired reasoning. Source Google). The same person who loved his family more than himself, had now forgotten it. I vividly remember how he used to drink tea with me, help me in studies and praise me as if I am the most extraordinary child; but it was just today that he forgot who I was. It was with a heavy heart that I reminded him I was his eldest grandson *****, whom he had named himself. My mother was depressive too. She had even attempted suicide when I was in 6th grade. What else, she had lost her mother and I could only pray that I do not lose mine.
Then moving into my teenage years here I almost found love of my life. There was a girl in school who could make all my worries disappear. Her smile meant me smiling. Her laugh got me laughing. Her being on my side was enough for me to deal with the troubles at home. She was my soul-mate. I had fallen in love with her. However, my only ray of happiness soon faded away. She too turned out to be tragically depressive. Her previous failed relationship made her feel alone and detached from the world. She meant the world to me but I felt helpless. How could I help her when helping her meant destroying myself? I knew my feelings were too strong to be just friends with her. Staying by her side, knowing that I could not have her as my significant other, would make me die from the inside. The best option, I felt, was to ignore her and let time heal the wounds.
My world felt empty. I asked myself. Why was fate treating me like this? What wrong had I done? I was whining to myself when I noticed something unusual in my father. Behind those glasses, he had red, swollen eyes. Why would he be crying? I thought to myself.
I finally realized.
I realized that it was his dad, who loved his only son more than anything, suffering from Dementia. I realized it was his loving wife of eighteen years who he had lost to depression. I realized it was his family which had broken apart. With a cold sweat, I also realized how I must have broken his heart when he asked me why I do not smile and I coldly replied that there was no reason to. I rushed and hugged him hard. “You’re not alone dad.” I cried. “We have each other.” He finally smiled. His blank eyes filled with life once again. I for the first time acted like the eldest son. It was a life lesson.
My father believes that his love was much greater than the troubles he was facing and thus, always had the strength to continue. Sometimes, we cannot control what happens to us but what we can control is how we deal with it. A pessimistic attitude leads one nowhere. It is only the best of people who find opportunities in the darkest of times. He showed me that love is selfless; it is great enough to make you care more about the person you love than for your own feelings.
When it comes to analyzing this interview I totally get mesmerized and blown away. I’ve known this person for past 8 years of my life and never have I ever listened to his whole story with this focus. I was always fond of him but not because of his hardships but because how he carried himself around he’s a genius in studies and is becoming a doctor.
The part the interested me the most is how he was cry and wiping about his low life and saw a light in his father’s eyes which he wasn’t able to see for many years how the hope was in front of him but he never realized it. The most interesting thing is that nothing happened that was out of blue to make his depression go away but his father’s eyes still managed to grasp his attention and dug him out of his long-lasting depression. Defiantly everyone goes through depression in some part of their lives and some people have a lot more tough life than other’s. It’s hard to find joys of life in different aspects but one should always try, like he tried to find the joy in his friend which he loved but found out that she was also facing many issues and totally unexpected from the situation he found a ray of joy in his father’s eyes that made him focused and made him to learn what life is after all.
What I think about this experience is very clear I implement his mind set most of the times and make my family source of my joy. In these times, most teenagers get irritated by their family but I try not to think in that side. I am sure that my love for my family is great enough to stand by my side.
